About Timberline

Hi, I’m Ally—owner and designer at Timberline Home Design LLC, a one-woman drafting and design studio based in Chetek, WI. I started this business to offer a more personal, hands-on approach to home and building design… where creativity, construction know-how, and client collaboration come together.

After earning my associate’s degree in Architectural Commercial Design from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in 2010, I spent over a decade building real-world experience in residential and light commercial projects. What began with floor plan drafting has grown into full-service design—helping homeowners and contractors bring to life everything from new builds to kitchen and bath remodels. With a strong understanding of how homes are built in Northwest Wisconsin (and a knack for creative problem-solving) I work closely with each client to design spaces that are practical, personal, and one-of-a-kind.

When I’m not sketching floor plans or picking out interior finishes, you’ll likely find me wrangling my kids and their endless activities, juggling coffee like a pro, and helping customers tame their wild Pinterest boards (because yes, you can have too many). I sometimes wear a lot of hats (and usually a ponytail), but at the end of the day, I’m all about designing spaces that actually work—and having a little fun while doing it.

Currently pursuing NKBA and Assoc. DBIA certification to expand my skills in design excellence and integrated project delivery.
